Once upon a winter evening, on December 7, 2025, Yarina and Eyan arrived separately at the same Winter Ball, each surrounded by their own group of friends and unaware that the night would become the beginning of their forever.

When another guest began giving Yarina some unwanted attention, she searched the room for a familiar face who might come to her rescue. After trying to catch the attention of a few friends, she finally found Eyan and asked him for his help and protection.

Eyan gladly stepped into the role—but rather than simply distracting the unwanted admirer, he began charming Yarina himself. Playfully offended that someone else had been flirting with her, he promised to make up for not giving her enough attention earlier that evening. He told her that when the next slow song played, the dance would be his.

“I promised you a dance,” he reminded her.
